Plant a Tree

At Putnams we are actively trying to reduce our carbon footprint (see our environmental policy here) as well as reduce the amount of plastic we use in our factory and in our packaging. Nobody is perfect, we are still working to improve many aspects of our business. One thing we want to commit to is planting trees with our customers which is why we have teamed up with Tree Nation.

This project recruits local people so not only are you planting trees with us but also getting people into employment.

We have so far planted 19,442 trees covering 8.86 hectares.

Equivalent CO2 capture to:

45 million smartphones charged or
141 homes' electricity use for one year
170 passenger vehicles driven for one year
9.4 tanker trucks' worth of gasoline
1,650 barrels of oil consumed

If you place an order over £60 we will plant a tree. We have also now added free tree planting for our customers when they review us via Reviews.io. This means if you purchase a product with us you can potentially plant two trees. Trees will be planted in batches.
